*Although there is an actor down in the movie’s end credits for the Germans called Strauss (David Shawyer) I have a feeling he played another character called Strauss, one of the German officers mentioned at the start on the right of the red cross doctors.
I’m basing calling Robin Turner’s character (the German number 10) Strauss also from the commentator in the match saying,  “Michael Strauss of Dusseldorf” as the scorer of the Germans second goal (Though this is another one of those ones where the edit of the football scenes just after causes a bit of confusion. The official credits have Turner down simply as player which is a bit of a disservice.)

**Imdb calls Søren Lindsted’s character The Players: Denmark – Erik Ball, I think this was a mistake and his character’s name was Erik Borge though at this point I can’t find or remember the research that led to this conclusion. I’m going to leave this for now though.
